COBRA insurance questions I have gotten though Email

my former employer has told me to send my cobra payment to them each month. this doesn't seem right to me. is this a normal situation?

If your employer is administering the plan, it's perfectly fine to send the payment to them, and they will record your payment, and forward your funds to the health insurance company.

If your company uses a third party administrator, then there may be a problem, but it doesn't sounds like anything is out of the ordinary.
