COBRA insurance questions I have gotten though Email

I am 18 years old and was recently dropped from my medical plan. My legal gaurdians medical insurance will not accept me on her policy, for I have had 3 knee surgeries, which are completely healed. I am currently sick and am now getting an er infection. I need to see a doctor but have no medical insurance, and when I was dropped from my medical I was told that I could go through Cobra medical insurance and they could give me insurance. Please help!

COBRA benefits are available to you, depending on how long ago you were dropped from your medical plan. I would contact your health plan administrator now, so that you can get the ball rolling. Keep in mind you will have to pay the entire cost of the premiums, which won't be cheap.
