COBRA insurance questions I have gotten though Email

Hi My name is Melissa i am 20 yrs old and i am not covered under my parents health insurance being that i am no longer a student ...it is obviousley a neccesity to have health insurance and i was wondering if a qualify for Cobra's program..and if so how do i go about doing this ??? please e-mail me back

Let your health plan administor know that you would like to enroll in COBRA (if sick). If you arte healthy, get quotes for individual health insurance from out site.

They should notify you within 60 days of your leaving the plan, but it doesn't always happen.
