COBRA insurance questions I have gotten though Email

I am nearing the end of my 18 month cobra plan. I terminated employment in the middle of the month on August 15 of 1999. I am not on unemployment or disability.I am presently in physical therapy and can't begin a new job until my problem is resolved.Am I still eligible for insurance through this February?

You may want to shop around for different HIPAA rates. If a health insurance company offers group health, they also have to give you guaranteed coverage when you are getting off cobra.

The rates are astronomical though, but if you are really using it, it may make sense.
