I've been on medicaid for awhile, but just landed a decent paying job and am wondering how soon they will kick me off medicaid? I'd like to buy private health insurance, if the premiums were not to high, I have not had that since about 2005. I imagine the premiums are higher now?

the premiums are much higher, maybe 50%? there's good news and bad news. The good news, the doctor will see you now. People on medicaid have problems getting appointments. What good is free health insurance you can't use?

The bad news, it will be more expensive. But you should be able to get appointments, test, see specialists, etc. I wrote about medicaid problems
