I was fired but not for a crime, I just did not see things the same way as my idiot supervisor. Could I still get COBRA if they continue to lie about my departure, along with everything else? Also I will be on limited funds now while I look for gainful employment, so how will the COBRA insurance coverage cost me?

sadly, cobra premiums are usually cost prohibitive. Unless you have a major pre-existing illness, you should look into getting an individual plan on your own. Enter your zip code in the green box above. The premium should be muhc lower than COBRA.

You can play dirty also and fill out the IRS form to collect the $110 per day for.cobra non compliance.

The cobra cost is high maybe x2 or x3 times what you were paying. Bettrr off getting your own health plan or get denied than wait 6 months and get into the pre existin :for your state.

Were you officially fired for performance issues or misconduct? If you were terminated for performance, you probably are eligible for unemployment benefits. If your former company can document that you were fired for misconduct or a violation of written company policies, you might not be offered COBRA.
