COBRA questions (with answers) I have received via Email

we were wondering if you can raise the rates for insurance without tell the patient we were sent a bill for an extra 70.00 i dont understand i would think you would tell the patient before it happens.

They do have to notify you, probably by mail that they are raising the rates and lowering benefits. Also they can't just raise yours, but everyone in your rate class.

My guess is they mailed it to you and you tossed it, like I do with all mail that isn't a bill or check.
