COBRA questions (with answers) I have received via Emaildoes the 44 days start from the date of termination or the date of coverage ending? i.e........december 7-- termination date december 31--coverage end date thanks martha c Martha: Since you can't have both your old company plan, and cobra at the same time, your health insurance continuation coverage could start on January first.
