Company closing division
I work for a company division. That division will close on 1/2/06. We will be integrated into corporate. Corporate will pick us up under their health plan and my current plan, which is different than corporate, will cease on 1/1/06. The company will terminate some employees at the end of January 06. Is there any minimum time under a new medical insurance policy that is required so that you will be covered by COBRA?
