COBRA termination
I have been on COBRA for 12 months with 6 months to go. My former employer changed insurers and is no longer offering me COBRA benefits. He claims that he had under 20 employees last year and doesn't have to continue the coverage for me. Furthermore, the new insurer's rates would be 50% more than what I had been paying this past year.
Can he do that?
