In NYS, what is the minumum number of hours a person can work and still be eligible to purchase insurance through the employers' plan at a public health center. Incidently, the employee is a dentist who has a person contract that states his benefits will will continue at the current level of benefits as when he was originally hired in a full time position. Incidently, he is still on the payroll and has been told that he can no longer have insurance as his 18 months on COBRA has expired. He never asked to be put on COBRA in the first.
