Cobra Cancelled due to poor paper work.
Hello All,
My Cobra was not initiated b/c my Cobra
managed care company did not recieve my payment.
Since I was only getting one month of coverage,
I did not know that they didn't cash the check
for the one month. I shlould have confirmed. That was my fault.
They said they sent me a notice of noncomencement
60+ days after the first day of eligibilty.
I never recieved it.
They also said they sent me an enrollment form,
which I never got.
They did acknowledge that they received my letter
requesting only one month of Cobra Coverage.
Now they say it is to late to reinstate my Cobra.
Do i have any options? I now have medical bill due from that month.
