COBRA to New Employer Plan
My family and I are currently covered under a COBRA plan through my former employer. Coverage under their regular and Cobra policies has been for a period of 18+ months. I am looking at a new employer whose program starts 31 days after hire. If I start on Sept 7 I would not be eligible until Oct 8. Since I have already paid Sept COBRA do I need to pay Oct as well for the 8 days?
