not sure what my rights are
I worked for a company and qualified for their group insurance with BC/BS. When I turned in my notice I was already after the qualifying date. This empoyer by there admission call the company and cancelled my insurance coverage. I have requested COBRA benefits and having difficulty getting them to assist me, or even give me a number to clear this matter. I am sure they would prefer that I not be covered, but with my understanding, by law they can not do that.
