It will depend upon the coverage you have. Does your coverage have a network, or is it an HMO? You might end up being out of network, in which case your care might be covered at a lesser level, if covered at all. You should contact the carrier and find out about out of the area options, if this is the case. If it's a standard indemnity plan, then it might not matter.
