They too dropped me retro to 6 weeks ago and I too have had major surgery that is requiring me to have extensive physical therapy. I have found nothing to be helpful other than contacting my local government who put me in touch with a special insurance division of the Att. General who is going to look into it and intercede on my behalf.
Short of getting your own lawyer and suing, nothing else I can think of.
