Insurer refusing COBRA coverage
I have an insured electing COBRA coverage but is being refused because the proper COBRA form was not submitted in a timely manner. On three different occasions within the proper time period (60-days) a notice was sent to the insurer requesting COBRA coverage. The employer never terminated the health coverage and now the insurer is considering declining because the insurers form was not used when accepting COBRA coverage.
Where do I go from here?
