state continuation rules & regulations
I am an insurance agent in the state of Mississippi. What I need is a list of rules & regulations for state continuation. I feel I have exhausted all options for finding this information. My quest for this information began with United Healthcare insurance company giving me incorrect information on three different occasions which I passed on to the employer, and in one case causing a former employee to loose his coverage while being hospitalized! I continually have employers ask me questions about state continuation which I refer to the insurance companies, and as mentioned above, I am given incorrect information as the rules vary from state to state.I have contacted the Department of Labor, the Mississippi Insurance Commissioners Office and the Secretary of State's office and I still do not have what I need. each of those agency's refer me to another. Please help!
