COBRA after a company is sold
Does anyone have information on what happens when the COBRA plan established with my previous employer is being cancelled due to the sale of the company. I'm being told today that the plan is being cancelled within 3 weeks. Is this legitament or is the purchasing company required to continue the availibility of the plan for the remaining 10 months of my 18 months?
