Employer In Bankruptcy - COBRA OPTIONS
I recently heard that my former employer was about to enter into bankruptcy. Calls to my former company are not answered only recorded messages stating they are no longer in business are repeated. I have been paying my COBRA thru a third party plan administrator and communications to them revealed no termination of plan benefits as of today. I am concerned that I will loose these benefits and would appreciate any recommendations from this message board as to the next appropriate steps I should take implementing what I should be doing, and help ease any transition or continutation of benefits.
