Some people wait to see if they can get other coverage before paying. If you have medical problems and your new employer does not offer coverage, you best take COBRA.

: It is my understanding that if I waive and then revoke the waiver of COBRA coverage, that coverage begins on the date of the revokation. Does the premium also begin at that date or do I have to pay for the entire month? In other words, is there any advantage in waiting until late in the month (still within the 60 day election period) to take these actions?
