Dependant child and college

My daughter is currently a full-time college student with dependant insurance coverage. During the Spring semester of 2007 she will not be attending school. She will be entering a university in the fall of 2007. Is she eligible for COBRA? If she is eligible for COBRA will she then be reapplied to our insurance plan when she becomes a full-time student again?
