Please Help me, no coverage for 2 months
I left the school that I was working at in June '06 and continued to get paid through Aug 15, 06. I started calling before Aug to make sure that my cobra would go into effect as soon as possible. Today is October 12th and it is the first day that I am offically able to get my perscriptions and see doctors. I have needed daily medications and some dr. visits that I have not been able to get. I have already paid over $200 for coverage that I have not been able to benefit from and today I got a bill telling me that I owe another 400 from before. That is 600$ solely for continuation of coverage my my condition only worsened. I have not been able to find a job and I can not afford this. It would have been different if I was actually receiving any help from them within the two months that I have to pay the 600$ for. Any help would mean so much to me.
