Virginia State Continuation
When an employee terminates employment from a small employer in Virginia (less than 20) and his wife is pregnant is there an additional length of time that she can maintain her state continuation coverage.
I'm in Tennessee and the normal length of time is 90 days, but in case of pregnancy that individual is eligible to remain under state continuation until 6 months after the birth of the baby. Does Virginia has the same type benefit.
I am attempting to help a couple who are moving to Tennessee.
