Employer getting paid premium, but I still have no insurance
My husband quit is job back in March. We had insurance until the end of march. I paid my cobra premium for April and sent in the paperwork. His ex employer has cashed our check, but has not paid our insurance to the insurance company. Nor have they turned in our paperwork. What do I do? I am paying over $600 a month and I have no health insurance. I have tried calling the insurance company and they can not help me. They say I have to contact the employer. No one at his previous employer will return my call.
