I am having a similar problem. When I worked for my former employer, they paid 75% of premium and the employee paid 25%. It cost the employee about $40 per biweekly paycheck. Starting 12/1/07, new plans kick in, which have been "drastically cut" and the employees now only have to pay $7 per paycheck. However, they are telling me that my COBRA payment is barely changing. How can I verify the amount they are actually paying for my insurance premium? I feel like they are going to be profiting from my payment each month - in the $100s of dollars.
