Hello my wife has just become eligible for medicare due to a disability. I just recieved notice from my private insurance that as of 01/01/08 my wife has been dropped from my plan. I called and they said once you become eligible for medicare you are no longer allowed to stay in cobra. Does anyone know if this is true. Thank you very much.
