Situation: Married male with 3 mos. pregnant wife and two kids has group health insurance through current employee. Male would like to take a different job that does not have group health insurance. The difference in pay more than makes up for the cost of providing own insurance but nobody wants to provide insurance until after the pregnancy. Does cobra provide the ability to remain on current insurance policy until pregnancy has come to term?
