If there are no health issues for 3 months, the issue is moot, but I would find out how much they would owe you in terms of a monetary penalty for not offering it to you in GA, if any.

Contact a labor lawyer in GA. Does a family member have pre existing medical issues?

: If companies are less than 20 employees, they are still required to offer mini cobra. its the same but usually for less time (GA is 3 months). my company refused, even after I requested. who can i report this to? my family currently has no health insurance.
