I am on disability for an undetermined amount of time. My empolyer has "reduced my hours" and offered me the COBRA plan. Do I have to pay my COBRA each month of $386 AND my insurance payments that I would normally pay of $$192 each month?? I understand this is to HELP people but when your disability check from the insurance (that is supposed to help you) only totals $800 how are you supposed to survive?
