The only way you can keep your current COBRA provider,Guardian, is if there is an option for the other employees to keep them as well.
They cannot discrminate against you only, but it must be plan wide.

: I am in need of URGENT help. I am on COBRA because my employerreduced my hours and I lost my health benefits. Next month, my employer ischanging health ins coverage to a different company and my COBRA followssuit. I have been diagnosed with cancer, and have my surgery & radiationsched. All my drs are in network in my current plan (Guardian) but will beout of network in the future plan, not to mention higher deductibles andless coverage. Do I have the right to stay with my current COBRA provider,Guardian, and not transfer along with the rest of my company to Aetna? Ihave been told that I do not have a choice and must change to Aetna. How doI fight this and maintain the same drs and cancer treatment regimen? Thanks for your help. Obviously I need resolution to this prior to the endof the year (5 days!)
