COBRA Medicare Disability 29 or 36 months?
Just had a confusing call.
COBRA administrator told me months ago my family would be covered for 36 months. Today, they tell me it's only 29 months.
1. I qualified for Disability in October of 2007 at such time was told I was "eligible" for Medicare.
2. I am entitled to Medicare in October of this year.
Can anyone explain to me the difference? There was some inference to 18 months, but I don't understand what is being said.
