Techically you don't qualify for COBRA, but the COBRA police will not come out and arrest you if you elect COBRA and withdrawl from your correct plan. However, Murphy's law is still in effect, so if you were to get COBRA, then your husbands company goes BK, COBRA would end, and you may not not have coverage until the next enrollment period at your employer.

: My husband was just laid off and his company has been providing our medical, dental, etc. So now his coverage will terminate. My employer does offer a medical plan which we can join. Are we eligible for Cobra under his plan with the 65% premium reduction since we do have access to another health plan?
