My family and I are covered under a cobra policy from my former employer. I can't afford coverage for the whole family because the premium is so high. I requested that I be able to remove everyone but my wife so I can pay the premium only for her. I wanted to do this because she is pregnant and I have been told I cannot get coverage for her from an alternate source. My former employer told me I could not do this. What are my rights?
