No, that's actually a qualifying event. Enrollment of the participant in Medicare (Part A, Part B, or both), should cause the employer to notify the plan administrator of the qualifying event.

: the quoted didn't address my question: can SPOUSE lose COBRA if I ch0ose to elect part B.
: In some other doc. I've seen a note saying it "might" happen. The language was confusing - this is why I've posted my original question
