The COBRA subsidy was intended to provide 15 months of assistance, but COBRA continuation usually lasts 18 months depending on your states mini cobra law. If you want to continue your COBRA coverage after the subsidy ends, you'll pay the full monthly premiums. Since the subsidy was 65% of the total premium, there will be a steep increase in your health insurance costs.

: Thank you for your responses. My 18 months of COBRA health insurance is scheduled to end June 1st, 2011. From what you are telling me, the COBRA subsidy ends March 31st, 2011. Does that mean that I no longer qualify for COBRA coverage?
