I feel you pain, whoever, CONEXIS did reinstate your coverage. It was their error and they are fixing it.

: I recently had a very upsetting experience with my COBRA administrator (CONEXIS) too. I am always very careful to mail my payment before the end of the grace period. I always get a certificate of mailing from the post office too - so I can prove the date the payment was mailed. Imagine my horror when I received a call from CVS saying they could not refill my 9-year-old's prescriptions because my insurance had been cancelled (my son was diagnosed with Crohn's disease shortly after I lost my job). It was a Sunday - so I couldn't even call CONEXIS to find out what the problem was. When I reached someone at CONEXIS Monday morning - I was told that accounts are cancelled if a payment does not post in their system by the 7th of the month. Even though I mailed my payment on time - they didn't process it on time (my check cleared on the 9th) - and they then cancelled my coverage. I was told it would take 3 days for my account to be reinstated - meanwhile I can't pick up my son's prescriptions because I can't afford to pay for them out of pocket.
