COBRA regulations apply to employer-based plans. If you have been covered through your university's student coverage, then COBRA does not apply.



: Hello. I recently graduated from a university in New York that was providing health insurance while I was a student. My coverage ends on July 31 and I am trying to determine whether I am eligible for COBRA. Is there an easy answer to this question? Thanks.
