well they certainly cannot charge you for coverage you do not get. What do your health insurance plan rules specify?

: My qualifying event was on 7/20/07. Eighteen months of cobra (california) would mean I have coverage until 1/20/09. At the beginning of my cobra coverage, my employer said I had to pay premiums at the beginning of every month, to pay for that month's coverage. Since I paid a full premium for the month of January, shouldn't I be covered for the entire month? Or entitled to a refund of some of that premium?
