COBRA is excellent for briding the gap between group health insurance plans.

I suggest you not take the gamble of going without health insurance, my insurance paid over $10,000 for emergency appendix surgery, well over 3 months premiums.

: I started a job but the health insurance doesn't start for 3 months. Is COBRA a good option for only 3 months? I have to decide soon to send in my election form and 1st premium.
