Hello All,
Thanks in advance for your help.

Last year I wanted only one month of COBRA Oct 2003.
I was laid off on Sept 30, 2005.The day that COBRA was to start is Oct 1, 2003.
Since this was the case, I contacted UNICARE for enrollment procedure cost etc...
They said they dont have any info on me since it is to early, but not to worry there is plenty of time.
Come Nov 2003, I sent them a letter asking them to end my COBRA and to give me more details as what to do about Oct 2003.
I never recieved anything.

Well time went on I got new coverage and I forgot about Unicare and COBRA.

A year later, i started getting notices from my Doctors saying that my Insurance did not pay for Oct2003 appointment.

That is when it hit. I forgot and UNICARE forgot.

I never recieved any notices. I called UNICARE and they said they sent me enrollment in Oct 8 and a nonconmencement letter on Dec 12th.

Even if I got the nonconmencement letter on Dec 12th that would still be past the 60 last chance day to keep things going.

Is there any hope of jsut paying for that one month of cobra instead of all thoes doctors
