Voluntary Termination of Employment with Family to insure
We have moved to a new town 3 years ago so my huband could attend professional school. I have worked full-time to provide benefits for our family of four. Now that my husband is finished with school he has a job in our hometown, so we will be moving in a few months. Hence, I will be leaving my job. However, my husband is not provided benefits with his new job and he will need me to help him set up his practice. Can I get COBRA to cover my family until we can get our business set up? How will I know if I can get COBRA coverage? I would like to know before I resign if my family will have medical insurance.
