Does the federal COBRA law require that an employer with over 50 employees keep an employee's medical benefits for at least 90 days before implementing COBRA if they are going on Maternity Leave, or any Disability Leave? Is there a legal time restriction with Disability Leaves, or is it up to ours (the company's) discretion to decide how long we will pay their group health insurance premium before advising they enroll in COBRA benefits?
