No they do not have to offer COBRA onthe day of termination. I think they have 45 days after the qualifying event.

: I was reading through the message board and came across a thread that stated that an employer could be penalized up to 110$ a day for not offering COBRA on the day of termination of employment is this true? its been over 4 months since my last day working with the company
