COBRA not recognized by insurance provider
I terminated my employment on 10/22/04 and elected to continue my health coverage through COBRA. I have sent my former company 3 monthly premiums so far. Today, I had to contact my insurance provider about a coverage question and was informed that I have been inactive since 10/22/04 and they have no record of me being on COBRA. I have contacted my former employer and the HR department told me that they had no answers but would check into it. Do I have any options here?
