Termination and timing
Hi.
If I voluntarily terminate employment on May 31st, and my coverage expires on May 31st, am I qualified for COBRA, or should I terminate a day earlier?
If I plan to take a job one week later, with immediate coverage, I really only have one week to worry about having no coverage. Would I likely have to pay cash for prescriptions or other medical, and then get reimbursement under COBRA coverage? Any other suggestions? Thanks very much. Nice message board.
