I recently resigned from Wayne Community College in Goldsboro, NC to go back to graduate school. My question is this: Will my plan administrator be in contact with COBRA benefits to send me info. on continuing my coverage for the next 18 months or is this my responsibility? I am covered by the college through the month of June; however will have to pick up payments starting in July. I haven't received any paperwork on continuing coverage yet, I wanted to touch base so I don't lose coverage come July.
Also, I have been employed with the state of NC for right at 9 years, will my coverage amount per month be the same as what my employer has been paying on me-$285.00?
