Hello,

Happy to find this board!

My husband and I are currently getting insurance by COBRA thru his previous employer. The 18 months end in OCT. I have been diagnosed with a chronic medical condition, and am on SS disability (in the past year). Does COBRA law mandate that the employer continues to cover me for 36 months instead of 18 because of disability status?
