Post employment Cobra Insuranace regulations?
I was laid off do to lack of work on 6/24/05 and have not received any information on cobra insurance continuation for myself and my spouse.
I have requested the information from my past employer and was told it is forthcoming. Todays date it 8/2/05 and I still have not received it. Please advice me on what the law is and if I should contact the Dept. of Labor and Industry reguarding this problem. My main concern is health insurance continuation without breaks in coverage.
