Coverage break?
I recently changed employers and my coverage expires 8/31/05 from
my previous employer. I will not have coverage from my new employer until
10/1/05. I have a pre-existing condition though and my new employers
insurance company will not cover me if I have had a break in my coverage
over the last year. I have not had a break, but believe that month would be
considered a break. I was wondering if I could receive coverage from COBRA
for just that one month and would that ensure that no break would occur in
my coverage. I would like to thank you in advance for your help in this
matter.
